2018 A7: A Wealth of Tech Features

Drivers of the 2018 A7 can expect to enjoy the full benefits of the Audi MMI® infotainment system, which uses an 8-inch display screen to deliver sharp, crystal-clear graphics.

Not only does it use Voice Recognition technology to make certain functions easy to use while driving, but it also incorporates MMI® touch, a handwriting-recognition feature. It allows drivers to write their entry by moving a finger across the touchpad controller.

Connectivity on the go will never be out of reach with the Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ features, which come standard on both trim levels. Use them to access your smartphone's features, including navigation, SMS messages, music, and more right from the MMI® screen.

Audi Performance Specs & Features

You won't have a problem accelerating in the Audi A7, with a standard turbocharged 3.0L TFSI® V6 engine that puts out 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. That's plenty of power to handle every daily driving situation imaginable, from highway merging/passing to rapid starts from a traffic light or stop sign.

If you're looking for even more power, check out the two performance-oriented variants of the A7: the S7 and the RS 7. Both use turbocharged V8 engines that give you between 450 and 605 horsepower and between 406 and 553 lb-ft of torque for a drive that is sportier and more fun.

This model is one of many Audi cars that comes standard with quattro® all-wheel drive, which can intelligently send power to where it's needed most, giving you a more controlled drive on wet or gravelly surfaces.

A7 Sportback: Plenty of Room in the Back

The 2018 A7 has a sizeable cargo bay, a result of its hatch body style, which Audi refers to as a Sportback. Even with the rear seats in use, you'll get 24.5 cubic feet of cargo space, which is plenty to stow golf bags for each rider-or the whole family's vacation luggage.

With split-folding 60/40 rear seatbacks, you can configure the cargo-to-people ratio in several ways, if you want to achieve optimal utility. A hands-free power liftgate comes standard as well, so accessing the cargo area when your hands are full is easy. Simply kick your foot under the rear bumper, and the liftgate will open.
